These reports were distributed during the period asensio.com was controlled by Asensio & Company, Inc., an investment firm registered with the NASD and Securities and Exchange Commission. These reports were published after Asensio & Company, Inc. took short positions in each of the subject’s publicly-traded stock.

The reports contained in the Current Reports were published after October 30, 2003. These reports were distributed under asensio.com’s Mandatory User Agreement. On October 30, 2003 Asensio & Company, Inc. voluntarily ceased operations and asensio.com was converted to an investor education, non-commercial web site. The site contains Asensio & Company, Inc.’s historical archives and promotes the valuable services Asensio & Company, Inc. and its founder provided to the financial markets.

Research Reports is the most important section of our web site. Our place in the financial community was earned through research that adds valuable information to markets. Our research reports are located in the Report Archives section. In this third edition of asensio.com we take special pride in bringing forward our first research report and the first public mention of Asensio & Company’s opinion about a stock. We published our Coca-Cola report in September 1993. The public commentary was published in Barron’s in January 1994. Our positive opinion was contrarian. In fact, the public commentary was a letter we wrote in response to negative comments about Coke in Barron’s famous Round Table. Investors who only know our short selling work, which commenced in 1996 as fully described in the History section of About Manuel Asensio, are surprised that we are also engaged in buy recommendations. An analyst should be agnostic prior to conducting research and should be indifferent about whether a security should be sold or bought. An analyst should only be concerned with calculation of value.

This section also contains some of our correspondence with the companies we have covered. The Letters to Companies section has its own descriptive introduction. Finally there is the War Stories and a brief text describing our research methodology.
